Marco Monroy is Founder and CEO of MGM Innova Capital and serves as the Chairman of the MGM Sustainable Energy Fund (MSEF), providing strategic guidance to the MSEF while overseeing deal origination and managing key relationships with local partners, investors and co-investors. He is also the founder and CEO of MGM Innova, LLC, a multinational firm specializing in integrated sustainability and climate change services that facilitate a transition towards a low carbon economy. In the year 2000 Mr. Monroy founded MGM International Group, a company that under his leadership became one of the foremost carbon project developers in the world, and in 2007 co-founded Mentez LLC, a leading social applications publisher in Latin America. Prior to that, he worked as an advisor on climate change issues to the Japanese government.
Mr. Monroy is an attorney licensed to practice law in Colombia and the State of New York. In 2002, the World Economic Forum named Mr. Monroy one of the 100 Global Leaders of Tomorrow.

Maria Pia Iannariello is Founder and Chief Operating Officer of MGM Innova Capital and the Director of Operations of the MGM Sustainable Energy Fund (MSEF). Ms. Iannariello is also the President of MGM Holdings where she manages a number of venture capital investments designed to contribute to the mitigation and adaptation to climate change and the promotion of applications for social networks. Before joining MGM Innova Capital, Ms. Iannariello was President and Chief Operating Officer of MGM International Group, responsible for implementing the company’s strategy and managing global operations. Prior to that, Ms. Iannariello worked at the Inter-American Development Bank, holding a number of positions of responsibility at the Operations Department, the Office of the Executive Director for Argentina and Haiti and the Office of Evaluation and Oversight. She was a Senior Project Manager at the World Wildlife Fund-Macroeconomics Program Office and a Research Analyst at Standard & Poor’s DRI.
Ms. Iannariello holds a Ph.D. in International Finance from The George Washington University and a B.S. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Texas.

Edgar Botero is Director General of MGM Energy Services (MGM-ES). He provides leadership in the sourcing, structuring and implementation of energy efficiency (EE), cogeneration, heat recovery and renewable energy projects in the industrial, commercial and service sectors under ESCO and sale of energy services models. Prior to join MGM-ES, as General Manager of Ecothermia SAS he led the implementation of EE and renewable energy projects. He has over 20 years experience as consultant in EE and climate change related fields for national and international companies and organizations, including, among others: Ecopetrol, Cerrejón, Cerromatoso, Occidental de Colombia, Deloitte, Grupo Corona, Winvent, National Cleaner Production Center in El Salvador, Cleaner Production Center in Nicaragua, SNV Netherlands Development Organization in Honduras, InterAmerican Bank and SK in South Korea. In addition, he was Director and Principal Investigator for national and international research projects; professor at Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Colombia) and guest professor at Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain), Universidad de Cuenca (Ecuador) and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México.
Mr. Botero holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Specialization in Combustible Gases from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (Colombia), and a Doctorate in Advanced Thermal Engineering and Energy Optimization from Universidad de Zaragoza (Spain).

Alfredo Nicastro is the Senior VP of Global Operations of MGM Innova Consulting and Director of Operations of MGM Innova Energy Services. He provides leadership to MGM Innova’s operation and origination activities in both the Consulting and Energy Services business. Previously, he worked for MGM International as a VP of Global Business Development & Planning, leading the Company’s global business development team & marketing activities. He was responsible for expanding client base by implementing innovative business development strategies, and setting up strategic partnerships with local contractors and consultants throughout the world. Prior to MGM International, Mr. Nicastro was responsible for CH2M HILL International environmental, energy and industrial systems business in Latin America. He has over 25 years of consulting, project management and operations experience in sectors such as oil & gas, energy, power & utilities, petrochemicals, waste management, environmental services, climate change, wastewater infrastructure, renewable energy and industrial facilities.
Mr. Nicastro has a civil engineering degree from the School of Engineering of Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia (Brazil) and post-graduate studies from the University of Michigan (USA).

Gerardo Aguilar is Senior Managing Director at MGM Innova Capital and Senior Investment Director of the MGM Sustainable Energy Fund (MSEF), where he focuses on the sourcing, structuring, implementing and monitoring of investments. Mr. Aguilar worked previously as Equity Business Developer for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Costa Rica and Panama and prior to that as Investment Principal at Latin Capital Fund I, where he was responsible for sourcing and negotiating equity investments valued at over US$ 100M. Between 2005 and 2007, Mr. Aguilar was Regional Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at E+Co, a clean energy investment company, where he headed company operations in Brazil, Bolivia and Central America and achieved additional funding under the SEF-IFC program by exceeding investment targets. Prior to that, Mr. Aguilar worked for 7 years with the UK´s CDC Group, where he was Manager at Actis, and, subsequently, a Partner at Aureos Capital. At CDC Group, he managed equity and debt investments throughout Latin America in excess of US$ 100M and completed successful exits via strategic buyers and the capital markets.

Patrick Doyle is a Managing Director at MGM Innova Capital and a Director at the MGM Sustainable Energy Fund (MSEF), where he focuses on originating, structuring and modeling potential investments as well as monitoring MSEF’s investment portfolio. Before joining MGM Innova Capital, Mr. Doyle was a Senior Energy and Climate Officer in the Structured and Corporate Finance Department of the Inter-American Development Bank, where he led the IDB’s transactions and technical support for distributed generation and energy efficiency, and managed numerous international climate funds. Before joining the IDB he was a strategy consultant advising companies, governments, and financial institutions on clean energy markets and technologies. His professional experience also includes working for a cleantech start-up and as a facility energy manager.
Mr. Doyle holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. from The John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Washington State University.

Alejandro Paz is an Investment Director at MGM Innova Capital’s Colombia office and a Director of the MGM Sustainable Energy Fund (MSEF). Prior to joining MGM Innova Capital, he was Financial and Technical Analyst at BONUS Banca de Inversión S.A.S. in Colombia. His responsibilities included financial and technical evaluation and structuring of large scale infrastructure projects and PPP programs, business appraisal and support in the acquisition/sale/divestment of businesses. Prior to this, he worked for Integral Ingeniería de Consulta S.A., in the design and feasibility assessment of hydroelectric projects and with Cemex Colombia S.A. in the evaluation, management and execution of projects.
Mr. Paz holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering of Antioquía, and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Los Andes.

Mark Kekich is Senior Director – Global Finance and Tax at MGM Innova Capital, where he focuses on the financial analysis of the investments of the MGM Sustainable Energy Fund (MSEF), and the fund administration, business and investments structuring, and financial reporting for MSEF. Mr. Kekich worked previously as Chief Financial Officer of Paymentez LLC, where he was responsible for all finance, accounting, and tax functions for the Latin American payment solutions company. Prior to that, Mr. Kekich worked with Deloitte as an International Tax Manager where he provided consulting services for several public and privately held companies in a variety of industries including entertainment, financial services, hospitality, manufacturing and distribution, oil and gas, and telecommunications. While at Deloitte, Mr. Kekich served as a national resource for U.S./Latin America cross-border transactions as part of the U.S. Latin America Regional Focus Group.
Mr. Kekich earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, cum laude, with a concentration in accounting, and a master of business administration (MBA) degree, specializing in taxation and investments, from the University of Miami. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida.

Between 2005 and 2007, Mr. Aguilar was Regional Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean at E+Co, a clean energy investment company, where he headed company operations in Brazil, Bolivia and Central America and achieved additional funding under the SEF-IFC program by exceeding investment targets. Prior to that, Mr. Aguilar worked for 7 years with the UK´s CDC Group, where he was Manager at Actis, and, subsequently, a Partner at Aureos Capital. At CDC Group, he managed equity and debt investments throughout Latin America in excess of US$ 100M and completed successful exits via strategic buyers and the capital markets.
Mr. Aguilar has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University and a B.Sc. in Government and Public Administration from the University of Costa Rica.

Patrick Doyle is a Managing Director at MGM Innova Capital and a Director at the MGM Sustainable Energy Fund (MSEF), where he focuses on originating, structuring and modeling potential investments as well as monitoring MSEF’s investment portfolio. Before joining MGM Innova Capital, Mr. Doyle was a Senior Energy and Climate Officer in the Structured and Corporate Finance Department of the Inter-American Development Bank, where he led the IDB’s transactions and technical support for distributed generation and energy efficiency, and managed numerous international climate funds. Before joining the IDB he was a strategy consultant advising companies, governments, and financial institutions on clean energy markets and technologies. His professional experience also includes working for a cleantech start-up and as a facility energy manager.
Mr. Doyle holds an M.B.A. from The Wharton School – University of Pennsylvania, an M.A. from The John Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Washington State University.

Alejandro Paz is an Investment Director at MGM Innova Capital’s Colombia office and a Director of the MGM Sustainable Energy Fund (MSEF). He supports the identification, analysis, structuring and modeling of MSEF investment opportunities as well as the monitoring the MSEF’s investment portfolio. Prior to joining MGM Innova Capital, he was Financial and Technical Analyst at BONUS Banca de Inversión S.A.S. in Colombia. His responsibilities included financial and technical evaluation and structuring of large scale infrastructure projects and PPP programs, business appraisal and support in the acquisition/sale/divestment of businesses. Prior to this, he worked for Integral Ingeniería de Consulta S.A., in the design and feasibility assessment of hydroelectric projects and with Cemex Colombia S.A. in the evaluation, management and execution of projects.
Mr. Paz holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the School of Engineering of Antioquía, and a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Los Andes.

Mark Kekich is Senior Director – Global Finance and Tax at MGM Innova Capital, where he focuses on the financial analysis of the investments of the MGM Sustainable Energy Fund (MSEF), and the fund administration, business and investments structuring, and financial reporting for MSEF. Mr. Kekich worked previously as Chief Financial Officer of Paymentez LLC, where he was responsible for all finance, accounting, and tax functions for the Latin American payment solutions company. Prior to that, Mr. Kekich worked with Deloitte as an International Tax Manager where he provided consulting services for several public and privately held companies in a variety of industries including entertainment, financial services, hospitality, manufacturing and distribution, oil and gas, and telecommunications. While at Deloitte, Mr. Kekich served as a national resource for U.S./Latin America cross-border transactions as part of the U.S. Latin America Regional Focus Group.
Mr. Kekich earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration, cum laude, with a concentration in accounting, and a master of business administration (MBA) degree, specializing in taxation and investments, from the University of Miami. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida.
